What adds to the price?

- Any non-stock RAL colour: about £245.
- Electric opening vent: about £695 each, plus wiring.
- Insulated upstand: from about £245 for small lanterns.

Fitting prices are guides for a lantern on a ready, weathertight upstand or for a like-for-like replacement on a sound kerb. Cutting a new opening into an existing roof involves structural work and roofing and is always priced after a survey.
Why do other quotes vary so much?
Some prices are for the lantern only, some include the upstand, delivery or fitting, and some quote ex VAT. Compare like for like: same size, same glass, same colours, same delivery, VAT included or excluded on both.
