Questions from Rhosllannerchrugog
Will a square lantern leak at the top?
It should not when it is correctly installed and maintained. The apex is factory-designed to shed water; leaks usually come from the upstand or roof membrane rather than the lantern itself, which is why the upstand detail matters.
Is a pyramid lantern more expensive than a rectangular one?
Per square metre it can cost slightly more, because every pane is a triangle and the apex needs a special joint. The difference is usually small next to the effect of size and glass choice.
Do you deliver roof lanterns to Rhosllannerchrugog?
Yes. Delivery to Rhosllannerchrugog (LL14) is quoted for your exact postcode and confirmed in writing on your quote, together with the lead time.
Who checks building regulations for a lantern in Rhosllannerchrugog?
Your local authority building control team. For a lantern in a new extension it forms part of the extension's approval; replacements in existing homes have their own rules.
