Questions from Deeside
Will a square lantern leak at the top?
It should not when it is correctly installed and maintained. The apex is factory-designed to shed water; leaks usually come from the upstand or roof membrane rather than the lantern itself, which is why the upstand detail matters.
Can I have an opening vent in a pyramid lantern?
Some ranges can fit a vent in one of the triangular panes, others cannot. We will tell you on the quote whether your chosen range allows it.
Do you deliver roof lanterns to Deeside?
Yes. Delivery to Deeside (CH5) is quoted for your exact postcode and confirmed in writing on your quote, together with the lead time.
Is it worth having solar-control glass in Deeside?
With the midsummer sun about 60.2° high at noon, roof glass in Deeside gets strong summer sun. Solar control is recommended for large or south-facing lanterns.
