Questions from Inverurie
Are uPVC lanterns as good as aluminium?
They do the same job at a lower price, with bulkier frames and fewer colour and size options. For most showpiece extensions aluminium is worth the extra.
Is uPVC heavier?
Weight is dominated by the glass, so the difference is small.
Do you deliver roof lanterns to Inverurie?
Yes. Delivery to Inverurie (AB51) is quoted for your exact postcode and confirmed in writing on your quote, together with the lead time.
Who checks building regulations for a lantern in Inverurie?
Your local authority building standards (verifier) service. For a lantern in a new extension it forms part of the extension's approval; replacements in existing homes have their own rules.
