Questions from Derry
What is the largest square lantern?
Ranges differ. Many go to around 3 m square, with extra hip bars on larger sizes. Tell us your kerb size and we will confirm which ranges can make it.
Will a square lantern leak at the top?
It should not when it is correctly installed and maintained. The apex is factory-designed to shed water; leaks usually come from the upstand or roof membrane rather than the lantern itself, which is why the upstand detail matters.
Is it worth having solar-control glass in Derry?
With the midsummer sun about 58.4° high at noon, roof glass in Derry gets strong summer sun. Solar control is recommended for large or south-facing lanterns.
Do you deliver roof lanterns to Derry?
Yes. Delivery to Derry (BT47) is quoted for your exact postcode and confirmed in writing on your quote, together with the lead time.
