Questions from Newtownards
Is a pyramid lantern more expensive than a rectangular one?
Per square metre it can cost slightly more, because every pane is a triangle and the apex needs a special joint. The difference is usually small next to the effect of size and glass choice.
Will a square lantern leak at the top?
It should not when it is correctly installed and maintained. The apex is factory-designed to shed water; leaks usually come from the upstand or roof membrane rather than the lantern itself, which is why the upstand detail matters.
Can you fit a roof lantern in Newtownards?
We can quote for fitting where we have cover. Send your postcode and photos of the roof and kerb, and we will confirm before quoting.
Do you deliver roof lanterns to Newtownards?
Yes. Delivery to Newtownards (BT23) is quoted for your exact postcode and confirmed in writing on your quote, together with the lead time.
