Questions from Stonehaven
Can I have a manual opening vent?
Manual vents are rare on lanterns because they are out of reach. Electric operation is standard.
What happens if it rains while the vent is open?
With a rain sensor the vent closes automatically. Without one it stays where you left it, so a sensor is worth having.
Do I need planning permission for a roof lantern in Stonehaven?
Often not, but it depends on the roof, the property and whether it is listed or in a conservation area. Check with your council before ordering.
How quickly can I get a roof lantern in Stonehaven?
Stock sizes are typically ready in 5–10 working days, made-to-measure in 3–4 weeks, plus delivery. Your quote gives the date for AB39.
