Questions from Haverfordwest
Does anthracite show dirt?
Less than white. Dust and pollen are more visible on dark gloss finishes, which is why most grey lanterns use a matt or textured finish.
Will anthracite get hot in the sun?
Dark frames absorb more heat than white, but lantern frames are designed for it. The bigger effect on room temperature is the glass, which is why solar-control glass matters on south-facing roofs.
Is it worth having solar-control glass in Haverfordwest?
With the midsummer sun about 61.6° high at noon, roof glass in Haverfordwest gets strong summer sun. Solar control is recommended for large or south-facing lanterns.
Can you fit a roof lantern in Haverfordwest?
We can quote for fitting where we have cover. Send your postcode and photos of the roof and kerb, and we will confirm before quoting.
