Questions from Wrexham
Will anthracite get hot in the sun?
Dark frames absorb more heat than white, but lantern frames are designed for it. The bigger effect on room temperature is the glass, which is why solar-control glass matters on south-facing roofs.
Can the inside be a different grey?
Yes. Any combination is possible on most aluminium ranges; non-stock colours carry a small surcharge.
Can you fit a roof lantern in Wrexham?
We can quote for fitting where we have cover. Send your postcode and photos of the roof and kerb, and we will confirm before quoting.
Is it worth having solar-control glass in Wrexham?
With the midsummer sun about 60.4° high at noon, roof glass in Wrexham gets strong summer sun. Solar control is recommended for large or south-facing lanterns.
